Kumbia Kindergarten is over the moon with the results of its fundraising golf day, held on Sunday.
Management Committee secretary Jules Entwistle said the kindy raised “a whopping $2800” with the help of sponsorship from Stanwell Corporation.
The day had a tropical feel, with many Stanwell employees turning up to play in colourful Hawaiian shirts.
“We had an incredibly successful day with just over 50 players (13 teams) teeing off and the event ending with a delicious buffet barbecue banquet by JC Catering,” Jules said.
Representatives from Stanwell then distributed the prizes.
