FLASHBACK: Detectives and other police outside a house in Alford Street in February after a man was allegedly stabbed

A 25-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged over an alleged stabbing in Kingaroy in February.

Emergency services were called to a house in Alford Street just before 12:30am on February 18 after reports a man had suffered lacerations to his neck.

They found a 42-year-old man with critical injuries.

He was transported to Kingaroy Hospital and then airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital.

An investigation, headed by Acting Detective Inspector Brian Collins and Forensic Crime co-ordinator Gary Whitlock working with Kingaroy police and detectives, resulted in a man being charged on Monday.

The 25-year-old was due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with unlawful wounding (domestic violence offence).

UPDATE: Connar Walter John Barry was granted bail when he appeared by videolink in court on Wednesday. He was remanded to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 12.
