The BreastScreen bus will be visiting Nanango and Kingaroy soon

August 29, 2014

BreastScreen Queensland’s special mobile mammogram bus is coming back to the South Burnett next month.

The bus will be based at Nanango Hospital from September 22, and at Kingaroy Hospital from October 20 through to January next year.

The screening is free – and no doctor’s referral is necessary – but appointments must be booked beforehand.

BreastScreen Queensland encourages women aged 40 years and over to attend every two years … early detection could save a life.

To make an appointment, phone 13-20-50.
