Roads Closed For Repairs

The South Burnett Regional Council has advised that flood repairs will begin soon on Youngmans Road, south of Kumbia, and Old Taabinga Road, near Goodger.
Both roads will be closed for the work, which is due to start on August 13 and is expected to take between four and five weeks, weather permitting.
- Youngmans Road – A diversion route will be in place via the Bunya Highway.
- Old Taabinga Road – A diversion route will be in place via Kingaroy-Cooyar Road, Goodger Gully, Kunioon Road, Coolabunia Road and Barker Creek-Kunioon-West Coolabunia Road.
A Council spokesman said the road closures would allow the works to be completed more safely and in the shortest possible time.
