Last month’s Mayor’s Breakfast – which launched the South Burnett’s 2026 Relay For Life fundraising campaign – has raised $3014.78 for Cancer Council Queensland.
“The South Burnett community continues to give generously to this important charity and I sincerely thank everyone involved in the success of the breakfast,” Mayor Kathy Duff said.
She said Council would also like to thank guest speaker Darryl Brohman, the generous local donors, and the 102 South Burnett community members who bought tickets.
“Thank you to the Kingaroy RSL for the delicious breakfast, the South Burnett Youth Council and to Carl Rackemann for the kind donation of three cricket balls that were auctioned off contributing to the fundraising success of the breakfast,” the Mayor said.
