Candlelight Ceremony - Cherbourg
A Candle Light Ceremony to raise awareness about domestic and family violence will be held at the Lena Buck Centre, 15 Barambah Avenue, Cherbourg, at 10:00am this morning for family and friends to light a candle and reflect on loved ones who were victims of domestic violence. The morning eill conclude with lunch. Everyone is welcome!
Genealogy Group - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Genealogical and Family History Society will be meeting at Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to noon this morning to provide free instruction on how to research your family history. Wednesday At Kingaroy Senior Citizens

Under The Bonnet - Kingaroy
Kingaroy police will be holding a free Under The Bonnet workshop at Ken Mills Toyota, at the corner of River Road and Youngman Street, Kingaroy, from 6:00pm to around 7:30pm tonight. The workshop will teach learner (and new drivers) about personal safety, road safety and basic car maintenance skills. The workshop is for drivers aged 25 years and under, both male and female. Nanango To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Nanango and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their Nanango address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey to Nanango at around 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $10 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Wednesdays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. You can make one by phoning Graham House Community Transport on (07) 4169-8400.
Wednesday Night Poker - Kingaroy

Free Community Meal - Kingaroy
A free community meal - dine-in or takeaway - is available every Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at The Salvation Army Hall, 109 Kingaroy St, Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $50 or $35 options to select food and the other items.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Nanango every Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Catholic Church hall at the corner of Alfred and Gipps street.
