BBQ, Beer & Bowls - Linville
- The Linville Progress Association will be hosting its end-of-year event from 5:00pm tonight at the Linville Hall and community gardens at 40 George Street, Linville. There'll be indoor bowls, a licensed bar and music until 9:00pm. A free barbecue will run from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. The event is free but please send an email for catering purposes!
Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Murgon To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
- Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays (except public holidays) but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Fitness & Friends - Murgon

Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. Cold beer and snacks will also be available at the clubhouse from noon, and the club's very popular Friday night dinner will be running after 5:30pm. - Wooroolin Line Dancing has come to Wondai! - Yarraman Bowls Club, on the New England Highway, is hosting a family-friendly barefoot bowls afternoon from 4:00pm this afternoon. No equipment is needed (just wear flat-sole shoes). Members will be on hand to share tips and tricks. The bar will be open. $15 green fee includes a hamburger or $5 per person for bowls only. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
