Carols In The Park - Wondai
The Wondai CWA and Community Choir will join with the Wondai Town & District Band to perform Christmas carols from 5:00pm to 8:00pm this evening in Coronation Park, Wondai. There'll be a free sausage sizzle put on by Wondai Lions plus ice creams and hot chips for sale. Santa is rumoured to be dropping in and there's free lollies for the kids!
Annual Christmas Remembrance Service - Kingaroy
Virgo Funerals will be holding their annual Christmas Remembrance Service at their chapel in Pioneer Avenue, Kingaroy (opposite Taabinga Cemetery) at 6:30pm this evening. The non-denominational service will be followed by refreshments in the chapel's gardens afterwards. The purpose of the service is to allow people to remember and commemorate a loved one who's passed away and there's no charge to attend - but an RSVP by 4:00pm on December 9 to help plan the catering would be greatly appreciated. Wednesday Morning Tennis - Blackbutt
The Blackbutt Tennis Club at 61 Hart Street, Blackbutt, will be holding 45-minute social tennis games from 7:30am this morning. Nanango To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
- Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Nanango and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their Nanango address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey to Nanango at around 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $10 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Wednesdays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Morning Melodies - Nanango
Nanango Theatre Company's Morning Melodies group will be hosting a fun-filled morning today from 10:00am at the theatre on the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango. There'll be singing, trivia, raffles and a lucky door prize. Tickets are $15, which includes light refreshments, and can be bought (cash only) at the door.
