It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Wondai Wolves … last Saturday it was their annual Old Boys Day and this weekend they’re hosting the massive Mini Mods Carnival!

There will be more almost 120 teams – with players aged from Under 6 through to Under 12 – their supporters and families taking over the fields at the Wondai Sportsground.

More than 550 games are scheduled to be played.

Last Saturday former Wondai players turned out in force for the Old Boys reunion, swapping memories in the clubhouse and creating a guard of honour for the 2026 Wolves as they entered the field to take on the Cherbourg Hornets.

Out on the paddock, the Wolves put on a brave display against the Hornets.

The teams were tied 24-all at half-time but finally Wondai finally went down 36-24 after letting in two late tries.
