Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club went pink last Sunday to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation and its cancer nurses.
There were pink balloons and flags, and the men’s and women’s teams turned out in pink socks for the popular annual event.
Even the referees and assistant referees donned pink uniforms.
And there was success to celebrate out on the field, too, with both Kingaroy Men’s teams notching up wins in their Darling Downs Community Competition games (see results, below).

On Friday night, a tense penalty shootout decided the traditional mid-season President’s Cup game in the South Burnett Women’s soccer competition.
The scores were locked at 2-all at full-time between Barambah and Kingaroy Wests.
Wests were triumphant in the penalty shootout, 3-2.
