The State Government is calling for expressions of interest from people keen to help shape the next stage of its 25-year blueprint for primary industries in Queensland.

Three working groups – representing Queensland’s northern, central and southern regions – will be set up to help design five-year action plans as part of “Prosper 2050”.

Interested representatives of the primary industries sector have until July 9 to register to join one of the regional working groups.

The formation of the regional groups follows consultation sessions on a draft 25-year blueprint which were held around Queensland recently.

A session was held in Kingaroy on June 5.

The application form to submit an expression of interest to join a regional working group is available on the DPI website
