The South Burnett Race Club will be holding its Winter Race Meeting at the Wondai Racecourse on Saturday (July 2).

As usual, the meeting will feature an on-course TAB, live telecasts of interstate races and an undercover betting ring.

The Race Club’s canteen will be operating, along with an outdoor barbecue and the Lady Luck Cocktail Bar.

The meeting’s fashion theme is “Winter Bolds” and guests who dress to it can compete in the Fashions Of The Field competition.

There will be prizes for the best-dressed lady, gentleman, boy and girl.

Entry fees to the course are $10 per head.

Optional trackside marquee seating is also available for an extra $50 per table of 10, and grazing platters are available for $30 each, but they need to be booked by Thursday, June 30.

You can reserve marquee seats and/or grazing platters by phoning the race club on 0418-916-646.

Gates will open at 11:00am and the first of the day’s five races will leave the barriers at 1:25pm.

The Winter meeting is being sponsored by the Duff family and Maurie Atkins Bobcat Hire.

There is plenty of free parking on site.
