Kingaroy’s BaconFest has been cancelled, but that doesn’t mean the related competitions have been axed.

The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s “Pork N Peanuts” window decorating competition is still in full swing.

“No big bad COVID is going to take all the fun,” KCCI secretary Paula Greenwood said.

“So don’t feel like a porker, just go nuts and dress it up.”

KCCI president Damien Martoo said the judges for the competition had also been selected: Kristy Board (SBRC), Snr Sgt Dave Tierney (Kingaroy Police) and councillors Danita Potter and Kirstie Schumacher.
