The Nanango Race Club will be wrapping up its 2020-21 racing season this weekend with their Autumn Race Meeting.

Saturday’s meeting will have a “Shades Of Green” fashion theme and patrons who dress to it will be able to win prizes in the Moffatdale Ridge Fashions Of the Field competition.

St Mary’s Catholic College will also be celebrating their annual day at the track, bringing along a busload of patrons from Kingaroy for a day of fun and frivolity.

Saturday’s meeting will have full TAB coverage – for the first time ever – and races will be broadcast on SKY-TV.

There will also be a bumper seven races on the card, with Race 1 scheduled to jump at 12:33pm.

Buses will be running to the races from Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at noon, and the rear of Nanango’s Fitzroy Hotel at 12:30pm.

Saturday’s races are being sponsored by South Burnertt Motors, FTA Accountants, the Banks family, the Fitzroy Hotel, St Mary’s Catholic College, McDonalds Kingaroy and Heritage Bank Nanango.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 15s are free) and gates open at 10:00am.

The Club’s next race meeting will be the Nanango Cup in August, which is always one of the race club’s biggest meets of the year.
