South Burnett Regional Council has organised an information session this week to explain “Felix”, Council’s new online procurement platform.

All current and potential pre-qualified suppliers are encouraged to attend.

The session will be held from 4:00pm on Thursday (September 13)  at the Town Common Hall in Oliver Bond Street, Kingaroy.

It will cover important information regarding the new platform as well as providing an opportunity for questions.

“Felix” is a procurement platform which has been designed especially for government organisations.

According to a Council spokesperson, Felix will “streamline and seamlessly manage the procurement process”.

“The platform will deliver a single and automated tool to help SBRC manage and control the procurement cycle and supplier relationships with transparency and efficiency.”

Businesspeople who want to attend the information session should RSVP by email to Louise Reidy at Council before noon on Thursday.
