June 13, 2017

Former Kingaroy rugby league player Logan Bayliss-Brow, who made his debut for the North Queensland Cowboys’ Holden Cup side last month, has been selected to play for the Maroons U18s team.

The former Red Ant played last season with Burnett White in the Toowoomba Rugby League U18s competition and joined the Cowboys’ development squad at the end of 2016.

He has turned out twice this year so far for the Cowboys in the Holden Cup – the National Youth Cup U20s competition – against the Titans and the Bulldogs.

Bayliss-Brow will go into camp with his Maroon teammates on Friday on the Gold Coast before heading to NSW to prepare for the Queensland U18s’ curtainraiser before State of Origin II on June 21 at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

The U18s team is being coached by former Maroon and current Cowboys’ assistant coach Josh Hannay.
