A Nissan Australia representative travelled to Kingaroy on Tuesday to present certificates and trophies to three mechanics.
The three – Benjamin Broughton, Aaron Livingstone and Thomas Hunt – have just completed the “Certified Technician” course offered by the Nissan Academy.
The young men are employed by Huston Motors and it took them about 12 months study to earn the special Nissan-only qualification.
Nissan Service Development Manager Peter Amundsen said it was important to recognise the achievements of the trio.
He said “Certified Technician” was the first rung of their specialist Nissan training, which would culminate in them being declared “Master Technician”.
