Kingaroy’s Maccas will be taking part in the annual McHappy Day fundraiser on Saturday (October 17).
This year McHappy Day is aiming to raise a record $3.4 million across Australia for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
“For those families who have to attend a hospital hundreds of kilometres away from their home the Ronald McDonald Houses are there to not only provide a warm and inviting home away from home, but somewhere where they can keep their family together and not have to worry about where they are staying each night,” Kingaroy McDonald’s licensee Andrea Steele said.
“RMHC’s programs help over 25,000 families each year but there are many more families that need our help and I’m encouraging the South Burnett community to join my team in raising much-needed funds.”
