A hiker in his 30s has been winched off the summit of Mt Walsh, near Biggenden, on Saturday after he fell and injured both legs.
The Sunshine Coast CareFlight Rescue crew flew to the scene at noon and winched a medical team down to the patient.
The patient was then lifted into the aircraft on a stretcher and flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital.
He travelled in a stable condition.
