South Burnett CTC’s Youth Park redevelopment in Somerset Street, Kingaroy, has passed a major milestone … the roof has been fitted.
“With the walls up and roof on, we can now stand inside the spaces where people will learn, gather and feel supported,” CTC Community Services manager Kirsten Firman said.
“It’s a powerful moment for everyone involved, seeing the heart of this facility begin to take shape.”
Internal works to fit out the building can now continue.
“This milestone gives the community its first glimpse of a facility that has been years in the making,” CTC CEO Jason Erbacher said.
“The structure standing tall symbolises our unwavering commitment to children, young people, families and individuals, and the future we are building together.”
Stage 1 of the Kingaroy Youth Park redevelopment is being funded with the Federal Government’s Growing Regions Program and CTC each contributing $1.98 million.
