A fight over a woman has been blamed for an incident which saw two men removed by police from the bus home from the Burrandowan Picnic Races on Saturday night.
The pair, a 28-year-old Nanango man and a 19-year-old Kingaroy man, have both been issued infringement notices for being a public nuisance.
Police allege the men became involved in an altercation on the bus and then became abusive to other passengers.
“Alcohol was obviously involved compounded by an argument over a female,” Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, from Kingaroy police, said.
When the men had settled down they were put on a later bus home.
