A Mazda sedan stolen after a break-in at a house in Alford Street, Kingaroy, at the weekend has been located.
The vehicle was found with minor damage parked in the yard of a vacant residence in Mant Street, Kingaroy.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said a Kingaroy resident had read media reports about the break-in and rang Crime Stoppers.
“This highlights the importance of people being vigilant,” Snr Sgt Frank said.
“If you see something out of place, contact police or Crime Stoppers.
“Because this person was vigilant, the owners will get their car back.”
