Would-be thieves have caused at least $7000 damage after breaking into trailers parked at a Kingaroy freight business.
Acting Senior Sergeant Brad Johannesen, from Kingaroy police, said someone entered the South Burnett Transport yard in Somerset Street on Friday and targeted six tautliners.
They entered the trailers by slashing their way through the canvas side-curtains on the vehicles.
Some items were possibly stolen, although an inventory is still being completed.
Acting Snr Sgt Johannesen said investigations were continuing.
