Thieves have stolen a quantity of cash from a safe after a break-in at the Mitre 10 building in Rogers Drive, Kingaroy, overnight.
Detective Sergeant Dane Sheraton, from Kingaroy CIB, said the offenders cut through a fence in the early hours of this morning and forced their way into the building via a side door.
Inside the building, they located the safe and removed a quantity of cash. Nothing else was stolen.
Scenes of Crime officers have attended the scene and police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the premises.
Det Sgt Sheraton said police were pursuing a number of lines of inquiry.

A Nanango man has been charged with serious assault and public nuisance offences following an alleged incident with a Department Of Child Safety employee on October 22.
The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on November 13.
