South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
14th Kings Royal Speedway - Kingaroy
The second day of the three-day Kings Royal - the biggest annual event on the South Burnett Speedway Club's calendar - will be held at Kingaroy Showgrounds this afternoon and evening. Racing will start today at 4:00pm and continue until late tonight. As well as more heats in the Modifieds, there'll be racing in the Production Sedans Stampede and Street Stocks. Admission today is $30 for adults, $25 for students (with ID) and aged or disability pensioners; or $85 for a family of two adults and up to two students (children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, are free). Three-day passes are also available at discounted rates. There'll be canteen facilities operating onsite and camping is available, too. Bushrangers & Colonial Shoot - Wondai
The South Burnett Branch of the Shooters Union is holding an Australia Day weekend shoot at the South Burnett Shooting Complex on Rifle Range Road in Wondai from 8:30am to 4:30pm today. The theme is "Australian Outlaw Bushrangers & Colonial" so shooters and visitors are invited to dress up to take part in the costume competition. Entry is free for spectators! Kingaroy Junior Golf Sign-On
Kingaroy Junior Golf will be holding an information and sign-on morning from 8:00am to 9:00am this morning in the clubhouse at the Kingaroy Golf Course, Bunya Highway. All welcome!
Wondai Country Markets
The Wondai Regional Art Gallery's Wondai Country Markets - held on the fourth Saturday of every month - will be operating at Coronation Park in Wondai's CBD from 7:00am to about noon this morning. The markets feature stallholders selling fresh fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, useful knick-knacks and clothing. There'll also be live entertainment; lots of other stalls selling great gifts and goodies; and special hand-made treasures from local artisans. The BBQs will also be firing up from around 6:45am to dish out hearty breakfasts for early bargain hunters. New stallholders are always very welcome (stall fees range from $10 with power and water available, if needed), and you can obtain more details by phoning the Wondai Regional Art Gallery on (07) 4168-5926.
Rum 'N' Roses - Kingaroy
Sunshine Coast duo Rum 'N' Roses - aka Ian and Sharon Robertson - will be performing ballads, county rock and rock & roll at the Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy from 7:00pm until around 11:00pm tonight in the Tobruk Room. Admission is free. More details from the RSL on (07) 4162-1755.
Love Island Traffic Light Party - Kingaroy
Kingaroy's Commercial Hotel, on the corner of Glendon and Haly streets, is bringing Love Island Australia 2025 stars Jotham and Dylan to town for a Traffic Light Party (don't ask!). The night will kick off at 9:00pm with Kayty Banks in the beer garden. DJ BR4Z3 will be spinning discs in the Sports Bar, also from 9:00pm
Go Getta Girls - Kingaroy

Saturday Library Day - Maidenwell
The volunteers from the Maidenwell QCWA will be supervising the regular weekly Saturday Library Day (featuring books loaned from Kingaroy Library) from 2:00pm to 4:00pm this afternoon. A library day is held in the Maidenwell Hall in Pool Street every Wednesday and Saturday.
Saturday Night Bingo - Kingaroy
