14th Kings Royal Speedway - Kingaroy
The first day of the three-day Kings Royal - the biggest annual event on the South Burnett Speedway Club's calendar - will be held at Kingaroy Showgrounds this afternoon and evening. Today's program will get underway with a Grand Parade at 3:30pm, followed by racing from 4:00pm until late with large fields competing in the Modified Sedans and the Queens Royal (New Stars and Top Stars). Admission today is $30 for adults, $25 for students (with ID) and aged or disability pensioners or $85 for a family of two adults and up to two students (children 12 and under, accompanied by an adult, are free). Three-day passes are also available at discounted rates, and there'll be canteen facilities operating onsite and camping available, too. Cooking Class For Kids - Murgon
- Graham House, at 21 Taylor Street East in Murgon, is hosting a fun and free cooking class for children from 10:00am to 12:30pm today. Spots are limited so to book in, phone (07) 4169-8400! (Under 12s must be accompanied by an adult).
Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Fitness & Friends - Murgon

Ping Pong Fridays - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Neighbourhood Centre offers free ping pong every Friday from noon to 1:00pm at the Biscuit Tin, 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy. Refreshments are available. Everyone is welcome but an RSVP is required on (07) 4162-5439.
Chi Gung Yoga - Wooroolin

Murgon To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
- Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to the Kingaroy Mall (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays (except public holidays) but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. Cold beer and snacks will also be available at the clubhouse from noon, and the club's very popular Friday night dinner will be running after 5:30pm. Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low-income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further.
