South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Triple Treat Exhibition Launch - Blackbutt
The Blackbutt Art Gallery in Coulson Street, Blackbutt will be holding a Wine and Cheese night from 5:00pm to around 8:00pm this evening to launch its "Triple Treat" exhibition, featuring new works by well-known South Burnett artists Bev Brown ("Metallic Black"), Carol Olsen-Bull ("Saorise") and Cary McAulay ("The Dreaming Tree"). Guests can get to meet the Gallery's artists and enjoy the diverse range of works on display, including pottery, jewellery, photography, leather work and fine art, along with wine and nibbles. Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Over 50s Bingo - Proston
Bingo games will be held at the Community Hall in Rodney Street, Proston from 9:00am this morning, with eyes down at 9:30am. There's a $100 jackpot on offer, and morning tea is available for just $2. Nanango Blue Light Roller Skating
The Nanango Blue Light Disco committee will be holding their regular U18s Blue Light roller skating night at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango from 6:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. There'll be lots of fun plus games and prizes, and a canteen will be operating too. Admission is $5, which includes skate hire, and the event is fully supervised. Troy Cassar-Daley - Kingaroy
Australian County music star Troy Cassar-Daley will be performing at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy as part of his current national tour at 7:00pm tonight. Tickets are $44.90 for adults or $23.50 for children and they can be booked online.
Burger Night Fundraiser - Blackbutt
The Blackbutt RSL Sub-Branch will be holding another of their once-a-month Burger Night Fundraisers at the Blackbutt RSL at the corner of Douglas and Muir Streets in Blackbutt to raise funds for good causes (this month it's drought relief). The bar at the RSL will open at 3:00pm and the freshly cooked burgers will roll out between 6:00pm and 8:00pm, accompanied by live entertainment from the evergreen RSL Ramblers. Guests can enjoy a burger with chips for $7 ($5 for kids) and there'll also be fish and chips, salads and a limited number of chicken breast burgers on offer. Tucker & Chop - Kingaroy
Popular South Burnett boogie men Tucker & Chop will be performing at the Commercial Hotel at the corner of Glendon and Haly Streets, Kingaroy from 7:30pm to around 9:30pm tonight, followed by DJdirex who'll keep the vibe running until around 1:00am. Queensland Winter Craft Festival - Kingaroy
The second (and final) month of the Queensland Winter Craft Festival will be running throughout July at the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery in Haly Street, Kingaroy (opposite the peanut silos) from 10:00am to 4:00pm today. The Gallery is hosting exhibitions from the Tangled Threads Textile Art Group, the South Burnett Gem and Fossicking Club and silk artist Cecile Arndt this month, and it will also be running a number of art workshops covering everything from rug making and silk painting to pottery and creating bags from rags. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:30pm today at 22 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
