Entries are now open for the 4th annual South Burnett Training & Business Awards which will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on September 26.
Entries for all categories have been invited from individuals and businesses across the South Burnett and Cherbourg regions.
Award categories include:
- 2026 Business of the Year
- 2026 Apprentice of the Year
- 2026 Trainee of the Year
- 2026 School-Based Apprentice / Trainee of the Year
- 2026 Equity Award
Two new categories this year are:
- 2026 Arts Business or Event of the Year
- 2026 Music Venue of the Year
As well, there will be non-competitive Employee Excellence Awards presented.
Nominations can be made online or the forms can be downloaded and mailed to: South Burnett Training Awards, PO Box 373, Kingaroy, 4610.
Independent judges will be examining the responses submitted with the nomination forms, so these should be completed carefully!
Entries close on August 22.

Tickets for the 2026 awards gala dinner will go on sale soon, and some limited sponsorship opportunities are still available (see the website for more information).
