Police have confirmed the investigation into the disappearance of Jack McLennan, who was last seen at Ficks Crossing in 2024, remains active.
“The QPS is currently assisting the Coroner’s office,” a spokesperson said on Monday.
“There is nothing else we can provide as it is with the Coroner, however if we receive updated information relevant to the investigation, we will advise next-of-kin, media and community accordingly.”
The 27-year-old was last seen between 8:00pm and 10:00pm on October 4, 2024, walking in the Ficks Crossing area.
Soon afterwards, items of Jack’s clothing and a wallet were found by searchers in the Ficks Crossing and Murgon areas.
southburnett.com.au contacted QPS this week after social media claims that Jack was seen in Wondai after his disappearance.
