Meet Gar-Won Tucker, a little black pony who is a champion in more than one way!
“Tucker”, as he’s known, is the current Pony Pairs Combined Driving Event Australian champion with his brother Gar-Won Trizan … but he is also a real champion for the residents of BlueCare’s aged care facility, Canowindra, in Kingaroy.
Tucker and his owner, Nicole Kimlin, visit Canowindra regularly to say hello to the residents and staff.
And he’s a big favourite, especially with the many residents from farming backgrounds who grew up with horses.
Cr Deb Dennien, a horse owner herself and former jockey, accompanied Tucker and Nicole on their latest visit to Canowindra earlier this month.
