Applications close on Friday (November 18) for community groups seeking grants of up to $10,000 from the 2022 Ergon Community Fund.

The Community Fund supports non-profit organisations to implement projects that provide lasting benefits for their communities.

Bunya Mountains Community Association received $4500 funding under the last round to support disaster preparedness activities for the Bunya Mountains, including a First Minutes Matter trauma workshop.

Ergon-Energex are particularly interested in supporting new ideas that focus on energy efficiencies, prepare the community for weather events, assist disaster recovery (including mental health and wellbeing) or create safeguards against future events.

This year, a People’s Choice bonus is also up for grabs, giving grant recipients the opportunity to receive an extra $5000.

More information on how to apply is available online

Applications close at 5:00pm on Friday.
