Kingaroy Town Hall was filled with stalls on Thursday for the South Burnett Regional Council’s Health and Community Services Expo.

There were stalls from health and welfare providers from across the region, many with small giveaways.

Information brochures were available on just about every topic, ranging from overcoming addictions to information about local men’s sheds.

Kingaroy Rotary had a sausage sizzle going for the public in the Town Hall Forecourt on Friday.

A meet’n’greet for health professionals was held in the Town Hall Forecourt on Thursday evening.

This is the second time the Council has hosted a Health Expo in Kingaroy.

Kingaroy Fire Brigade had a display of fire safety and smoke alarm information in the Forecourt
Matthew Malone, project officer for the Barambah Youth Services Hub, was explaining the services the Murgon-based hub offers to young people
Chloe McIntosh and Donna Ryan, from Youth Insearch, a peer-to-peer counselling and support program for young people
Simon Linnane and Lauren Ryan from Murgon-based Graham House which offers a wide range of services
Vince Evans, Murray Johnston and David Black were working hard at Kingaroy Rotary’s portable sausage sizzle van
