The recent “Dinner Under The Stars”, hosted by the Kingaroy Men’s Shed, has raised an amazing $8400 for the RACQ LifeFlight Foundation.
A spokesperson said this amount was one-third more than the group was able to donate last year, despite having fewer attendees!
“Having other equally worthwhile events in the area on the same night shows what a fantastic amount was raised,” the spokesperson said.
“This result was made possible by the generosity of those that attended and the sponsorship / support of local businesses and individuals.
“On behalf of the committee we thank you all very much.
“We would also like to say a special thank you, to the families featured in the video played on the night, for sharing their stories.”
