The Kingaroy Men’s Shed volunteers are still working out how much they have raised for the LifeFlight Foundation at their recent Dinner Under The Stars, but they received a surprise gift back on Tuesday morning.

Bill Steffensen, from Nutrien Harcourts, put in the winning bid on the night – $300 – for a painting donated by Kingaroy artist (and well-known barber) Heather Anderson.

The painting depicts the Men’s Shed volunteers hard at work in the in grounds preparing for the big night.

Bill told southburnett.com.au he would like to donate the painting back to the Men’s Shed so they could hang it on their wall.

Kingaroy Men’s Shed president Eric Ford thanked Bill and Nutrien Harcourts for their kind gesture.
