Tyre deflation devices were deployed at Nanango, Woolmar and Woodford in a bid to stop the vehicle, but the driver managed to avoid the stingers on each occasion.
At Blackbutt, the driver allegedly drove through roadworks to avoid police.
At D’Aguilar, near Wamuran, the BMW left the highway and travelled along Raaen Road where it allegedly side-swiped a police vehicle, causing minor damage.
A police spokesman said tyre deflation devices were then successfully deployed further along Raaen Road.
When the car came to a stop, the driver allegedly took off on foot but police gave chase and quickly arrested him.
