The Eagels & Amber Goldsmith In Concert - Blackbutt
The first day of the 2012 Bloomin' Beautiful Blackbutt Festival will kick off at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt tonight with a concert by "The Eagels", a stunningly accurate tribute band for Southern California’s most famous musical group. The Eagles enjoyed huge worldwide success in the 1970s with hits like Take It Easy, Hotel California, Desperado and New Kid in Town - and even today, their concert DVD “Hell Freezes Over” is still the best selling DVD ever. The aim of The Eagels is to replicate the experience of a live Eagles concert as closely as possible, and they'll be appearing onstage along with popular South Burnett performer Amber Goldsmith for a five star night of great family entertainment. Gates will open at 5:00pm if you went to secure a good spot and hot food and a licensed bar will be available too (no BYO). Tickets to tonight's concert are $20 for adults or $15 for students and pensioners (under-13s are free). They can be obtained in advance from the Blackbutt Visitor Information Centre in Hart Street, Blackbutt but they'll also be available at the gate this evening. Last year's Eagels concert was the biggest in Blackbutt's history and drew a crowd in excess of 650 people. This year's reprise concert promises to be even better.
