South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch - Kingaroy
BOOKED OUT: The Salvation Army and several other community groups and volunteers will be hosting the annual South Burnett Community Christmas Lunch at the Senior Citizens Centre in Avoca Street, Kingaroy from 11:30am this morning (lunch will be served at around 12:00 noon). The lunch is open to anyone - young or old - including single parents and those who'd just appreciate some company today. To assist with catering, though, an RSVP is absolutely essential. You can make one by phoning CTC on (07) 4162-9000.
Christmas Day Buffet Lunch - Kingaroy
The Carrollee Hotel in King Street, Kingaroy will be holding an all-you-can-eat Christmas Day Buffet Lunch from 11:00am to 2:00pm today. The lunch will offer a wide variety of seafoods and Yuletide treats, and Santa will be paying a visit too. Tickets are $99 for adults (10% less for pensioners) and $35 for children aged 5-14, but bookings and pre-payment are essential. You can make a booking in person or by phoning the hotel on (07) 4162-1055.
Christmas Lunch - Coolabunia
BOOKED OUT: The Whipbird Cafe in Coolabunia will be offering a buffet-style lunch and dessert for 100 guests from 11:30am to 2:00pm today. Tickets are $59 for adults, $20 for under 12s and $10 for U6s (U2s are free), but bookings are essential: (07) 4162-7658.
Christmas Day Buffet Lunch - Wondai
Dimities Cottage in Haly Street, Wondai (opposite the Art Gallery) will be holding a Christmas Day buffet lunch from 11:30am to around 2:00pm today. However, this popular event usually sells out quickly so bookings are essential: phone (07) 4168-5744.
