South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Yarraman Show & Shine
The annual Yarraman Show & Shine will be held at Errol Munt Sportsgrounds on the New England Highway from 10:00am today (registrations start at 8:00am) to about 3:00pm. This hugely popular show always features a large range of cars, motorcycles and trucks in pristine condition. There'll also be a swap meet, market stalls and food. Registrations for show vehicles on the day are $10 but entry is FREE for spectators! Trophies will be announced at 1:00pm. The day will be supporting the Yarraman RSL Sub-Branch. More info? Gravel & Flannel Festival - Wondai
Keep an eye out for cyclists in the Tingoora to Wondai areas this weekend! The 2026 Gravel and Flannel Festival will bring together more than 100 cyclists, mountain bikers, their friends and families for three days of riding and good times from Friday to Sunday. The riders will be based at the Wondai Hotel 1903. More information is available online
Nanango Country Markets
The Nanango Show Society will be holding their regular monthly Country Markets at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street from 6:00am to 11:30am today. As usual, the markets will feature a wide variety of craft stalls, new and used goods, plants, poultry and pets. The Nanango Markets are the largest rural market in south east Queensland and attract up to 420 stallholders. But new stallholders are always very welcome too! More info? Ringsfield House Open Day - Nanango
Historic Ringsfield House, 41-45 Alfred Street, Nanango, is hosting an Open Day today! Local artists will be featured in the art gallery from 9:00am to noon, plus tea and scones will be available on the verandah for $12.00 per person from 9:00am to 11:00am. (As a bonus, visitors can also pop on down to the Energy Museum in Henry Street where the historic Nanango Butter Factory diesel motor will be fired up this morning or drop in to inspect the former Masonic Lodge in Gipps Street which will also be open for inspection!)
Proston Khanacross
The Proston Car Rally Club will be holding the first day of their weekend-long Proston Khanacross Test & Tune Weekend at their race track today, 7.5km west of Proston at 757 Proston-Boondooma Road. Laps will begin at 8:30am this morning and wrap up at 4:00pm with spectacular burnouts from 5:00pm. Drivers come from all over Queensland for the weekend and spectators are very welcome to come along and enjoy a family-friendly weekend! Free camping is available on site. Karaoke Grand Final - Nanango

Pig On The Spit Night - Wooroolin
The Grand Hotel on the Bunya Highway at Wooroolin will be holding their monthly Pig On A Spit Night from 5:30pm until late this evening. Saturday Library Day - Maidenwell
The volunteers from the Maidenwell QCWA will be supervising the regular weekly Saturday Library Day (featuring books loaned from Kingaroy Library) from 2:00pm to 4:00pm this afternoon. A library day is held in the Maidenwell Hall in Pool Street every Wednesday and Saturday.
Go Getta Girls - Kingaroy
