South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
South Burnett Express Rail Trail Relay - Kingaroy To Wondai
The 6th annual South Burnett Express Rail Trail Relay will be held on the South Burnett Rail Trail between 6:00am and 1:30pm today. Runners have to complete a section of the 60km course from Kingaroy to Wondai and return, passing on the baton to their next team member after running about 5km. Spectators are very welcome to view the race's finish at the Kingaroy rail trail head in Youngman Street from about 12:30pm onwards. There'll also be a sausage sizzle in O'Neill Square with presentations about 1:30pm
KCCI Golf Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding a "Battle of the Businesses" golf day today at the Kingaroy Golf Club. The day is a fundraiser for the KCCI's "SMILE" program which supports mental health. For more information, contact the club on (07) 4162-1720.
Devonshire Teas - Hivesville
Hivesville QCWA will be opening the doors at their rooms in Main Street from 7:00am to noon this morning to offer visitors Devonshire Tea to coincide with today's Hivesville Country Markets. There'll also be preserves, plants and bric-a-brac for sale! Cash only.
Hivesville Country Markets
The monthly Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sportsground (in Edwards Lane, Hivesville) from 7:00am to around noon this morning. As a special attraction today, there will also be a swap meet with the South Burnett Trading Company. These family-friendly markets are held on the 4th Sunday of every month (except December) and feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. New stallholders are very welcome, too!
Kilkivan Community Garden & Railway Markets
The monthly Kilkivan Community Garden & Railway Markets - held on the last Sunday of the month (February to November) are on again from 7:00am this morning at 2a Bligh Street (opposite the hotel. For more information, or to book a stall, phone Deborah on 0448-749-727.
Harvest Share & Swap - Yarraman
A free community produce swap is held every Sunday from 9:00am to 10:00am at The Pink Flamingo, 19 Toomey Street, Yarraman. This is an opportunity to share your unwanted produce, seeds or seedlings.
Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
