Toowoomba Regional Council’s Local Disaster Management Group has moved to “stand-up” status following the issuing of a “leave immediately” bushfire warning for Wutul and East Cooyar.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services issued an Emergency Warning to residents in the East Cooyar and Wutul areas on Monday afternoon to LEAVE IMMEDIATELY because of a fast-moving bushfire.
Three unoccupied caravans and a shipping container have been destroyed by a fire burning in the Wutul / East Cooyar region on Sunday.
