Tickets are now on sale for the annual Mayor’s Charity Christmas Luncheon.
The fundraiser to support local families in need at Christmas will be held on Friday, December 4, in the Kingaroy Town Hall.
Tickets are $40 and can be booked online or at any of Council’s Customer Service Centres.
“Join us for a festive lunch and help make Christmas a little brighter for families in our community who need a helping hand,” Mayor Kathy Duff said.
Guest speakers will be South Burnett Pantry founder Jim Bennett and Seath Holswich from the Salvation Army.
There will be entertainment from Friends of the Shed as well as raffles with a variety of prizes donated by local South Burnett businesses.
This year’s major sponsors include Peries IGA Kingaroy, the Queensland Country Women’s Association, SunPork and South Burnett Regional Council.
