A fire which badly damaged a shed in Booie on Sunday evening sparked a grass fire which prompted a strong response from local rural brigades.
At one stage 10 units – a mix of urban and rural units – were at the blaze which broke out in Malar Crescent about 4:45pm.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said the fire in the shed was under control by about 5:00pm, with the grass fire contained about 30 minutes later.
Firefighters continued mopping up and monitoring for hotspots before leaving the incident about 8:30pm.
Fire investigators were expected to visit the site on Monday to determine the cause of the fire.
A QAS spokesperson said paramedics attended but there were no patients.
