The 2026 Heritage Nanango Country Music Muster has been hailed as another success with more than 600 caravans and campers filling the Nanango Showgrounds.
Visitors began rolling in days before the Muster officially got under way on September 10 with a concert by guest artist Tania Kernaghan.
But the fun wasn’t just for the campers … South Burnett residents also turned up in good numbers for this special concert.
This is the 23rd year that the Heritage Muster has been held and over this time it has confirmed its place as a very popular stopover on the grey nomad circuit.
It not only provides an economic lift to local shops but volunteers also run the canteen, bar and coffee shop providing a useful boost to the Nanango Show Society.

Heritage Waterhole Rocks – an enthusiastic celebration of the rock’n’roll era – will be at the Showgrounds from October 14-18.
