Members of a visiting caravan club boosted numbers at the Murgon’s 55MYA art gallery’s recent “Elegant Afternoon Tea”.

The visitors, members of the Capricornia Tourers Australian Caravan Club, dropped in to check out the fossil museum and enjoy afternoon tea in the adjoining art gallery.

The “Elegant Afternoon Teas” are just that – fancy china plates and snacks – and are timed to coincide with the opening of the gallery’s latest exhibitions.

Works from South Burnett artists again lined the walls at the August opening and will be available to buy for the next two months.

The gallery fills the southern end of the museum complex in Macalister Street.
