Two people were airlifted to hospital after a truck crash on the Burnett Highway near Glan Devon on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called just after 6:30am to the incident, which also involved a Ford Ranger.
The highway was blocked between Runnymede Road and Manumbar Road for several hours.
At 11:00am, it was still closed to traffic.
A QAS spokesperson said two patients were flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
A police spokesperson said the driver of the Ford Ranger, a 31-year-old man, suffered serious injuries.
Three fire crews were sent to the incident but a QFD spokesperson said there were no entrapments.
The truck flipped onto its side, blocking traffic, while the vehicle ended up in a ditch beside the highway.
Council workers were called to helped to clear debris from the roadway.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
Police have appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them.
