A chilly evening didn’t stop visitors from enjoying a night under the stars at Hillview Cottages, just outside Kingaroy, last Saturday night.

Hosts Sheralyn and Daniel Rock welcomed a coachload of guests as well as local visitors to enjoy a night of campfire cooking and live entertainment.

The team from The Bait Layers served up steaming hot meals while open fire pits kept people warm as they listened to live music by 2026 Tamworth Bush Ballad award winner Paul Ricketts..

Kingaroy Observatory’s James Barclay also brought along two high-tech telescopes to allow visitors to do a spot of star (and planet) gazing.
