The South Burnett Chorale will be presenting its annual concert, “Lights, Camera, Sing!”, this Sunday (July 19) in Kingaroy.
The concert will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 15 Albert Street, from 3:00pm.
The chorale will be presenting a collection of well-known songs from the stage and the big and small screens.
Musical Director Julee-anne Bell said she was delighted to be back leading the choir after a short break on tour.
“It’s wonderful to be back with the Chorale. I’ve missed making music with this group and reconnecting with our local audiences,” she said.
“We’ve put together a program that people of all ages will recognise and enjoy, with music that has become part of our shared memories through theatre, film and television.”
The South Burnett Chorale has become an important part of the region’s cultural life since it was began in 1996.
Tickets are $20 per person (children under 12 are free), which includes afternoon tea, and can be booked online
