It was the turn of the South Burnett Saints to turn pink last weekend as a cancer fundraiser.

The annual Pink Ladies Day at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy was topped off with a special “SaintsChella” party for the club’s women players and their friends.

The party was held in the new, fenced off area created next to the Kingaroy Cricket Clubhouse, with a firepit, food and drinks.

Club stalwart Natalie Fenton was making sure the music kept pumping.

Earlier in the day, the Saints were also celebrating out in the paddock with the men’s team notching up a strong win over the Toowoomba Tigers.

The Saints defeated the Tigers 20.24-144 to 4.2-26 with Fletcher Brown (8 goals), Mitch Francis (5) and Joshua Keleher (4) dominating their opposition.

The Saints women weren’t so lucky, being defeated 6.5-41 to 1.4-10 with Jalara Wagner kicking the sole goal.

All Saints teams have a bye this weekend.
