There’s going to be a lot happening at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy this weekend!
On Friday night, the annual President’s Cup game between the leading two teams in the South Burnett Women’s Competition will face off at 6:15pm.
Kingaroy Wests will take on Barambah.
Then on Saturday, South Burnett soccer fans eager to watch the Socceroos against the United States in the World Cup should roll up at the Kingaroy Senior Soccer Clubhouse at 5:00am for a special “watch party” to cheer on the Aussies.
The match will be projected on to a wall at the club.
On Sunday, the Kingaroy Senior Soccer Club will be raising funds for the local McGrath Cancer Care Nurse with their annual “Pink Day”:
- 9:30am – Kingaroy JFC Cadets v Combined Kingaroy Women’s team
- 11:00am – Kingaroy Division 1 v Highfields
- 1:00pm – Kingaroy Division 2 v Rockville Rovers
There’ll also be a lot of pink fun, with fairy floss, raffles and games.
