The mystery third guest for this year’s Dinner With The Champions cancer fundraiser has been revealed … dual-code international, Michael O’Connor.
O’Connor represented Australia with the Wallabies from 1979-82 and then the Kangaroos from 1985-1990.
After moving from union to league, O’Connor signed with St George and later captained Manly-Warringah.
He also played for the Blues in State of Origins.
The other guest speakers for the dinner, which will be held on August 8 at Kingaroy Town Hall, are Test cricketer Adam Gilchrist AM and marathon swimmer Susie Maroney OAM.
The Dinner With The Champions is a major part of the South Burnett Relay For Life campaign for Cancer Council Queensland.
